Appliance Purpose / Function:

• Distilization and holding.

This appliance is designed so that the doctor can distilize the molars and then hold them in place once distilization is complete.  Distilization is controlled by la friction screw in the distal sheath.  The first sheet is used to adjust the spring force to the molar, during holding it is recommended to relieve the spring force from the second mechanism.

This appliance can allow for unilateral distillation of each molar.
